La coordinaci\u00f3n central del proyecto se realiza desde la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia (Espa\u00f1a). Se trata de una entidad p\u00fablica que ha apoyado la realizaci\u00f3n de INNER NATURE a trav\u00e9s de diferentes estructuras y departamentos<\/a>. En sus diferentes ediciones, la inauguraci\u00f3n de INNER NATURE ha estado acompa\u00f1ada de conferencias, talleres, mesas redondas y otras actividades vinculadas a la tem\u00e1tica de la exposici\u00f3n. Entre ellas podemos destacar la presencia de invitados como el ecofil\u00f3sofo Jorge Riechmann<\/a>, la videoartista Ursula Biemann<\/a>, el comisario e historiador del arte Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Parre\u00f1o<\/a> o el cineasta Miguel \u00c1ngel Baixauli. <\/a><\/div>\n

El equipo de INNER NATURE en Valencia tiene un perfil de investigaci\u00f3n especializado en Arte y Ecolog\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de diferentes cuestiones como son el an\u00e1lisis de estrategias audiovisuales en la sociedad contempor\u00e1nea, la iconograf\u00eda de la crisis ecol\u00f3gica, el arte colaborativo, o el papel de la empat\u00eda y la contemplaci\u00f3n en el desarrollo de la conciencia ambiental, entre otros. Su funci\u00f3n principal es el comisariado del proyecto global organizando la convocatoria del concurso audiovisual, los procesos colectivos de selecci\u00f3n de obras, la coordinaci\u00f3n de la itinerancia, etc.<\/div>\n

The central coordination of the project is performed by a group of researchers working at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). This public entity  has supported INNER NATURE through different institutions and departments<\/a>. Over the past editions, the opening of INNER NATURE has been accompanied by conferences, workshops, round tables and other activities related to the theme of the exhibition. Among them we would like to highlight the participation of guests speakers such as eco-philosopher Jorge Riechmann<\/a>, video artist Ursula Biemann<\/a>, curator and art historian Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Parre\u00f1o<\/a> and filmmaker Miguel \u00c1ngel Baixauli.<\/a><\/div>\n

The researchers belonging to the INNER NATURE team in Valencia (link) are specialized in different issues related to field of Art and Ecology such as the analysis of video strategies in contemporary society, the iconography of the ecological crisis, collaborative art, or the role of empathy and contemplation in the development of environmental awareness, among others. The team’s main task is the curating of the global project which includes the launch of the video art call, the collective selection process, the coordination of the travelling show, etc.<\/div>\n
