EXHIBITION IN GIJ\u00d3N, SPAIN<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are happy to announce the next INNER NATURE venue in PACA_Proyectos Art\u00edsticos Casa Antonino<\/a>. Eugenia Tej\u00f3n & \u00c1ngel Gonz\u00e1lez from\u00a0<\/span>Mind Revolution<\/a><\/span>\u00a0will present \u00a0\u201cEl Nal\u00f3n\u201d<\/a><\/span>, a sound project focused on this Asturian river.\u00a0There will also be a meeting with Santiago Doljanin<\/a><\/span>, audiovisual and sound artist whose \u00abS\u00f3lidos\u00bb environment installation addresses complex processes related to global warming.\u00a0In parallel, the nomadic project \u00abZines of the Zone\u00bb<\/a>\u00a0will share its public collection of self-published books and fanzines.\u00a0Our congratulations to Virginia L\u00f3pez<\/a> for her excellent management.<\/p>\n

Presentaci\u00f3n de la tercera edici\u00f3n de INNER NATURE contracorriente en el IVAM (Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno)<\/b><\/span><\/td>\n\u00a0INNER NATURE second edition \u00a0 \u00a0opening\u00a0 conference at IVAM (Valencian Institute of Modern Art)<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
La tercera edici\u00f3n de INNER NATURE se inaugur\u00f3 el pasado 10 de noviembre. Tras una breve presentaci\u00f3n institucional realizada por Lorena Rodr\u00edguez Mattal\u00eda, Jos\u00e9 Albelda y Guillem Cervera, se proyectaron los v\u00eddeos de la secci\u00f3n oficial de la muestra. A continuaci\u00f3n tuvo lugar la conferencia de Francesc La Roca<\/strong>\u00a0(Fundaci\u00f3n Nueva Cultura del Agua)<\/a> centrada en las principales problem\u00e1ticas vinculadas a la gesti\u00f3n de los recursos h\u00eddricos en la actualidad.\u00a0Despu\u00e9s se proyectaron los v\u00eddeos de la secci\u00f3n variable y por \u00faltimo se dio paso a la\u00a0ponencia\u00a0de Ursula Biemann\u00a0<\/strong>(geobodies.org<\/a>)\u00a0. La artista suiza habl\u00f3 de su trabajo reciente vinculado a temas ecol\u00f3gicos, centr\u00e1ndose en particular en la obra Subatlantic,<\/em> que se mostr\u00f3 durante su intervenci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/td>\nINNER NATURE third edition was inaugurated on November 10th, 2017 at the IVAM museum in Valencia (Spain). After a short presentation by Lorena Rodr\u00edguez Mattal\u00eda, Jos\u00e9 Albelda and Guillem Cervera, the videos of the official section of the exhibition were screened. Then, Francesc La Roca (New Water Culture Foundation)<\/a> held a conference focused on the main issues related to water management today. Afterwards, the videos of the variable section were screened and, finally, Ursula Biemann (geobodies.org<\/a>) gave a talk about her recent work linked to ecological issues, focusing in particular on Subatlantic<\/i>, a video art piece that was shown during her presentation.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Taller INNER NATURE contracorriente\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/td>\n\u00a0Workshop INNER NATURE Against the tide<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
Como actividad paralela a la exposici\u00f3n, se organiz\u00f3 un taller de videoarte con el cineasta Miguel \u00c1ngel Baixauli<\/strong>, con el objetivo de aproximarse a la complejidad del ecosistema acu\u00e1tico del parque natural de la\u00a0Albufera y construir a partir de aqu\u00ed nuevos relatos audiovisuales. Para ello contamos con la colaboraci\u00f3n\u00a0de expertos de la Fundaci\u00f3n Nueva Cultura del Agua<\/a> y de la Fundaci\u00f3n Assut<\/a>. Nuestro agradecimiento a Graciela Ferrer, a Bosco Diez por su participaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/td>\n\n

As a parallel activity, we organized a video art workshop held by filmmaker Miguel \u00c1ngel Baixauli, with the aim of approaching the complexity of the Albufera natural park ecosystem and of creating new video narratives about this protected space. We were helped by experts of the New Water Culture Foundation<\/a> and of the Assut Foundation<\/a> in this process. Our thanks to Graciela Ferrer and Bosco Diez for their participation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
