Wires and Roots<\/i> explora la idea de paisaje y la tecnolog\u00eda que lo modifica. Narra la historia de un sistema de ra\u00edces que se superpone a un sistema de cables abandonado.<\/p>\n

STATEMENT<\/p>\n

Mi trabajo cuestiona la influencia industrial y tecnol\u00f3gica del ser humano sobre el entorno f\u00edsico. En concreto, me interesa analizar c\u00f3mo nuestra ecolog\u00eda es alterada por la tecnolog\u00eda que implementamos para crear un entorno econ\u00f3micamente productivo.
\nUtilizando la t\u00e9cnica del stop motion<\/i>, creo y transformo paisajes, mostrando el impacto de la tecnolog\u00eda, y retrato su lucha para proveer a las necesidades de las criaturas que los habitan, como p\u00e1jaros o insectos. La obra habla de los ciclos vitales y de la manera en que se rompen y cambian con las transformaciones f\u00edsicas del medio ambiente.<\/td>\n

Wires and Roots<\/em> explores the idea of landscape and the technology that infuses it. It tells the story of an old root system which takes on an abandoned system of wires.<\/p>\n

STATEMENT<\/p>\n

My work questions our industrial and technological influence on our physical environment. Specifically, I am interested in how our ecology is altered due to technology we implement to create a more economically productive environment.<\/p>\n

Using the medium of stop motion, I build and transform landscapes as a result of technology and illustrate their struggle to maintain the needs of the creatures that inhabit them, often represented with bugs or birds. The film discusses life cycles and how they break and change with the physical transformations of the environment.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
